We partner with landowners, private organizations, and local, state, and federal government agencies to design, fund, and implement conservation programs. Projects include land conservation, land management, and land use planning.

Current projects range from a national register listing for the Auburn battlefields in Fauquier County to battlefield preservation planning for the Buckland Mills battlefield to encouraging better planning for Interstate 81. Learn more>
In addition, JGP President John Hutchinson recently received a citation from the Citizens Planning Education Association of Virginia for his planning work with a citizens group in Shenandoah County. Learn more>
